The Eloin Wilderness Preserve is privately owned by the Oahspe Foundation. It is located on 80 acres in the middle of the Rogue National Forest in Southern Oregon. We adjoin hundreds of acres of some of the last old growth forests in Southern Oregon. As residents of the Dead Indian Canyon, the Order of the Trees protects and supports this incredible and rare environment. We stand as guardians to a unique valley that is filled with rare and endangered species of plants and animals.

In the 1980s we were able to stop the clear cutting of Dead Indian Canyon and secure the status of Late Sessional Reserve/ LSR, for thousands of acres around us.
